  1. Open the Settings app. You can find it in your app drawer or by swiping down and tapping the gear icon in the notification panel.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Accounts or Accounts & Backup (depending on your device and Android version).
  3. You’ll see a list of accounts linked to your device. Tap on your Google account.
  4. Tap the three-dot menu icon (usually top-right) or select Remove account, depending on your device.
  5. Confirm by tapping Remove account or Remove again.
  6. You may need to enter your PIN, pattern, or password to complete the sign-out process.

Once you’ve completed these steps, your Google account will be signed out from your Android device. This will affect services like Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos. You can sign back in anytime to restore access.

You can view computers, phones, and other devices where you are or were recently signed in to your Google Account. Visit
google.com/devices
to ensure no one else has access to your account.

Review Devices:

  1. Go to your Google Account.
  2. In the left navigation panel, select Security.
  3. Under the Your devices section, click Manage all devices.
  4. You’ll see a list of devices where you’re signed in or were signed in within the last few weeks. Click on a device or session for more details.
  5. Devices or sessions where you are signed out will show a “Signed out” label.
  6. If you see multiple sessions for the same device type, they could be from one or more devices. Review their details. If you’re unsure, sign out of those sessions.
